I found this advert on youtube. The idea being so close to my idea, I am forced to take a different approach. This video features Michelle Yeoh (Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon) battling it out against two ninja assassins.
The environment is simple white with distinct shapes of courtyards of ancient royal palaces of the chinese style (doorways, wall height, furniture) and the music is a patter of drums and guzheng accenting the choreography. This must be a genuinely chinese approach to the brand identity. As it paints a picture of an empowered chinese female (renowned and talented) using the product. This as a non-sexual approach to the product and one I know works for the brand, compared to other brands. The connection to sportswear brand Puma also adds to the athletic connotation I wanted to make with the choreography.
